中央决定,在纪念建党90周年之际,对500个全国先进基层党组织、50名全国优秀共产党员、200名全国优秀党务工作者进行表彰。这次表彰的对象应是在推动科学发展、促进社会和谐、服务人民群众中创造优秀业绩、作出突出贡献、得到党员群众公认的先进模范;重点是近5年来特别是在开展深入学习实践科学发展观活动和创先争优活动中涌现出来的先进基层党组织、优秀共产党员、优秀党务工作者。
