Objective: To investigate the relationship between plasma apolipoprotein B (apoB) levels and coronary artery lesion and coronary artery Gensini score in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: Plasma apoB levels were measured in 76 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and 30 patients with non-CHD (control group). Coronary angiography was performed in patients with coronary heart disease. Left atrium, left anterior descending artery, left circumflex artery And right coronary artery in the number of 4 vascular stenosis ≥ 50%. According to the number of coronary vessels, coronary artery disease patients were divided into 3 groups, single lesion group, double lesion group and three lesion group. Results: The plasma level of apoB in coronary heart disease group was (1.09 ± 0.26) g / L, which was significantly higher than that in control group (P <0.001). The levels of plasma apoB in patients with single vessel disease, double vessel disease, triple vessel disease and control group were (0.93 ± 0.21) g / L, (1.02 ± 0.23) g / L, (1.27 ± 0.22) g / L and (0.81 ± 0.19) g / L, the plasma apoB levels between the four groups, the difference was significant (P <0.001). The level of plasma apoB in coronary heart disease was positively correlated with the number of vascular lesions in coronary artery (r = 0.397, P = 0.029). Plasma apoB levels in patients with coronary heart disease and coronary artery Gensini score no correlation (r = 0.084, P = 0.635). Conclusion: The plasma apoB level in patients with coronary heart disease is significantly higher than that in non-coronary heart disease patients. The level of plasma apoB is closely related to the degree of coronary artery disease in patients with coronary heart disease, and apoB can be actively decreased in patients with coronary heart disease. It may play an important role in the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease.
