第二十七届国际地质大会于1984年8月4日至14日在苏联的莫斯科克里姆林宫召开。本届大会的组委会主席是苏联地质部部长E·A·柯兹洛夫教授。出席会议的有112个国家共5574名代表,其中我国有78名。另外还有陈国达、刘东生、罗焕炎等三位学者作为大会的特邀代表也参加会议。大会共收到论文摘要5768篇,其中我国提交315篇。大会分别在8月5日和14日举行了全体会议,邀请了知名学者、教授专门就“当代地质学成就”和“与环境保护有关的地质学问题”做了报告,受到了大会广泛的重视。大会期间还分设了22个分组学术讨沦会。此外,尚有“国际岩石圈计划”的10个专题讨论会,共有4000余篇论文在会上宣读。其中,我国代表宣读论文62篇。由于我国的文章,其立论可靠、实际材料多、内容丰富、文图并茂,宣 The 27th International Geological Congress was held in the Moscow Kremlin in the Soviet Union from August 4 to 14, 1984. The chairman of the organizing committee of this conference is Prof. EK Kozlov, minister of Soviet geology. A total of 5574 delegates attended the meeting in 112 countries, of which 78 were in China. In addition, three scholars including Chen Guoda, Liu Dongsheng and Luo Huanyan also attended the conference as invited representatives of the conference. The conference received a total of 5768 abstracts, of which 315 were submitted by China. The congress held plenary sessions on August 5 and 14, respectively, and invited renowned scholars and professors to report on “Contemporary Geological Achievements” and “Geological Problems Related to Environmental Protection” specially submitted by The General Assembly has attached great importance. During the conference, 22 sub-seminars were also established. In addition, there are 10 symposiums entitled “International Lithosphere Program” with over 4,000 papers read out at the conference.
