目的:研究人口腔鳞癌中肿瘤相关巨噬细胞(tumor-associated macrophages,TAMs)和血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)在血管生成中的关系。方法:收集34例人口腔鳞癌组织标本,光学显微镜进行巨噬细胞和微血管的计数,图像分析软件检测VEGF的表达;8例正常口腔黏膜为对照组。结果:在口腔鳞癌中,VEGF的表达和微血管计数、巨噬细胞计数呈现正相关(P<0.05);VEGF的表达、巨噬细胞的浸润和肿瘤的淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05),口腔癌浸润的巨噬细胞中有29%~10%的细胞内有VEGF的表达。结论:VEGF的表达、巨噬细胞的浸润和血管生成之间具有相关性,二者共同参与了肿瘤的生长和转移。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in human oral squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: 34 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma specimens were collected, counted by light microscopy for macrophages and microvessels, and analyzed by image analysis software to detect the expression of VEGF; 8 cases of normal oral mucosa as control group. Results: In oral squamous cell carcinoma, the expression of VEGF was positively correlated with microvessel count and macrophage count (P <0.05), VEGF expression, macrophage infiltration and lymph node metastasis (P <0.05) 29% -10% of the cells in the infiltrating macrophages have VEGF expression. Conclusions: The expression of VEGF, the infiltration of macrophages and angiogenesis are correlated with each other. Both of them are involved in tumor growth and metastasis.
