Thirty patients with Wilson’s disease and 20 normal control subjects underwent SPECT cerebral perfusion imaging. The results showed that 30/30 (100%) reduction of r-CBF in bilateral lentiform nuclei was found, of which 25/30 83.3%) with diffuse brain damage. Clinical manifestations and r-CBF changes have some relevance, indicating that SPECT cerebral perfusion imaging is helpful in the diagnosis of Wilson’s disease.
