去年,局属各主要厂矿向苏联专家有系统地学习了苏联钢铁工厂设备维护检修工作的先进经验,初步懂得了如何正确地、科学地组织设备维护检修工作。大多数厂矿推行了苏联钢铁工厂组织修理的基本方法——「设备计划预修进度表」制度,调整了检修工作的组织机构;有些厂矿并建立与贯彻了维护工作的几项制度,使设备维护检修工作开始走上正轨,设备事故较一九五三年显著减少。但是,必须指出,各厂矿因事故而影响生产的情况仍然是很严重的,据不完全统计,局属各厂矿一九五四年度共发生设备事故2,921次(其中重大事故413次),致少产生铁5,113吨,钢锭2,865吨,钢材10,366吨,损失共达旧币760余亿元。今年一月份,据不完全统计又已发生事故二十四次,死亡三人。上述情况说明,设备维护检修工作仍然是目前各厂矿生产上的薄弱环节。为了改善这种情况,使设备维护检修工作能在现有基础上提高一步,我们认为下面几个问题是需进一步研究考虑的。

However, it must be pointed out that the impact of various factories and mines on production due to accidents is still very serious. According to incomplete statistics, there were 2,921 equipment accidents (of which 413 were major ones) in all factories and mines in 1954, A total of 5,113 tons of iron, 2,865 tons of steel ingot and 10,366 tons of steel were produced, accounting for a total loss of over 760 billion yuan. In January of this year, according to incomplete statistics, another 24 accidents happened and three people were killed. The above situation shows that the equipment maintenance and repair work is still the production of various factories and mines weak links. In order to improve the situation and make the equipment maintenance and repair work on the basis of the existing one step forward, we think the following problems need further study and consideration.
