FIRE is a university and private-sector,non-profit organization,managed by a board of directors,elected by the principal membership comprising of 16 industrial partners and 10 academic institutions,drawn from10 different countries.Its strength is this expertise from all sectors of the refractory producing,supplying and consuming industries coupled with the world’s leading academic institutions involved in refractory research.
