有关部门提供的资料表明:由于缺电,我国企业的1/3的生产能力闲置,每年因此少创产值2500亿元;因过载拉闸限电每年造成的损失达100—300亿元。据估计,目前全国年缺电高达600—700亿度。中国电工技术学会组织40多个电专业学会的百余专家教授最近为缓解电力紧张状况献计献策,他们指出:采用先进电技术,开发第五电能源,是一条投资少、见效快的捷径。何谓第五电能源?即电能在生产、运输、使用过程中被无端损耗和浪费的那一部分。专家们算了一笔帐,在我国。如要得到同样1千瓦的电,建造火电厂需2000—3000元,建水电厂需4000元,建核电厂需8500元,搞太阳能发电需2.5—4万元。而开发第五电能的投入只需300—900元,而且还可减少环境污染。
