去冬今春我在美国自由行,出于职业的本能,也走马观花地了解了下美国的摄影业,虽很肤浅,但也可管窥一斑。美国当下还未走出金融危机的阴霾,失业人口居高不下,家庭收入普遍下降,自然也波及到了摄影业的发展。我刚到美国的时候常去一家叫“PNN”的摄影连锁商店淘些旧的器材,但一个月后再去就发现它已经关门歇业了。今年二月百年胶片帝国——柯达公司(Eastman Kodak Company)宣布破产,美国摄影界的朋友无不惊叹,有人说:“简直像听到地震和海啸一样恐惧。”
