一、石臼港埠股份有限公司的发展概况日照港是“六五”期间国家重点建设的沿海第二大煤炭输出港.日照港的杂货码头也相应建设和发展起来,使得原山东省交通厅所辖的石臼港办事处的两个500t级码头受到很大冲击,局面很难再坚持下去.经交通部和省交通厅的努力,两个码头合并一起划归日照港务局.码头尽管已无多大价值,但位置重要,对整个港口发展有重要作用.1993年日照港决定自筹资金5000万元在原两个500t级的码头基础上改造7个5000t级以下的泊位.1995年初具备简易靠泊条件,1996年初竣工验收.
