中国英汉比较研究会第六次全国学术研讨会定于2004年11月在苏州大学举行,本次会议由中国英汉比较研究会和苏州大学外国语学院共同主办。欢迎学会内外学者就以下议题撰写论文:1)对比语言学(1977年以来的英汉对比研究、英汉对比研究方法论、对比研究的同与异问题、对比研究与教学和翻译、中国英语等);2)对比文化学(包括中西文化中的环境概念、中西思维方式和英汉语言、中英文化对比研究、对比文化学理论研究等);3)翻译学(包括翻译研究中的解构与重构、翻译的主体与主体间性、多元文化语境中的翻译研究、翻译学理论系统和基本范畴研究、中西译论比较研究);
The 6th National Symposium on Comparative Studies of English and Chinese is scheduled to be held in Suzhou University in November 2004. This symposium is jointly sponsored by the Chinese-English Comparative Studies Association of China and the Foreign Languages Institute of Suzhou University. Theses and dissertations are welcome to be written by domestic and foreign scholars on the following topics: 1) Comparative Linguistics (English-Chinese Contrastive Studies since 1977, Methodology of English-Chinese Contrast Studies, Similarities and Differences in Comparative Studies, Comparative Studies and Teaching and Translation, China English, etc.); ) Comparative Cultures (including the concept of environment in Chinese and Western cultures, Chinese and Western ways of thinking and English-Chinese language, comparative study of Chinese and English cultures, comparative cultural studies, etc.); 3) Translatology (including deconstruction and reconstruction in translation studies Inter-subjectivity, translation studies in the context of multiculturalism, research on the theoretical system and basic categories of translation studies, comparative studies on translation between China and the West);
