Former Salzburg Music Festival Art Director, Art Biennale Munich Art Director Peter Rutzicka recently came to the Central Conservatory of Music, opened a brief “workshop” for the world-renowned Munich music Excerpts only. In the end, Ludzka provided an opportunity for Chinese young composers to enter the world’s highest music platform. Among the 11 candidates, Lutzka chose Wang Lin, who was closest to his vision of “combining Chinese local materials with Western pioneering skills.” Lutz allowed the Central Conservatory doctor to create an opera for the Munich Biennale, which will make a world premiere in Germany in April 2010 with a bonus of 200,000 yuan. In addition, Lutzka also selected another female composer, Yang Lin, to participate in the Munich Biennale Music Festival “composer portrait” project next year.
