鈧、釷与乙二胺四乙酸所形成的絡合物的稳定常数分別为10~(23.1)与10~(23.2),因此在离子交換柱上不易分离。我們試用三种有机試剂,卽間硝基苯甲酸、喹啉甲酸-[2]和四氯磷苯二甲酸于鈧与釷的分离及其測定。利用鈧和釷在不同酸度中沉淀而分离和分別測定之。茲将試驗的主要結果报告如次。Ⅰ以間硝基苯甲酸作試剂問硝基苯甲酸很早就用于測定釷,最近亦用于測定铈(重量法)。从以前的工作,知本試剂能沉淀四价铈,但不沉淀三价希土。不过鈧的性貭与鑭系元素略有不同,因此我們試用之于沉淀鈧。从試驗結果得知,鈧在pH2.5—5.8(超
Scandium, thorium and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid complex formed by the stability constants were 10 ~ (23.1) and 10 ~ (23.2), so the ion exchange column is not easy to separate. We tested the separation and determination of scandium and thorium with three organic reagents, p-nitrobenzoic acid, quinolinecarboxylic acid- [2] and tetrachlorophosphoryl phthalic acid. Scandium and thorium were precipitated in different acidities for separation and determination respectively. The main results of the trial are reported as follows. Nitrobenzoic acid Ⅰ as a reagent to ask Nitrobenzoic acid has long been used for the determination of thorium, also recently used for the determination of cerium (gravimetric method). From the previous work, we know that this reagent can precipitate tetravalent cerium but does not precipitate trivalent earth.
