全光纤波长选择滤波器是光纤通信系统中的重要器件,其中将光栅写在光纤耦合器的耦合区上构成的波长选择滤波器结构紧凑、插入损耗小、费用低。报道了采用波长为244nm的紫外光在由康宁SMF-28光纤熔融拉锥制作的2×23dB耦合器上写入光栅的实验,在耦合器熔锥区的适当位置写入一定长度的布拉格光栅,可以实现全光纤多端口波长选择滤波器。实验中获得了最大反射率约为20dB,线宽大于1nm的滤波器,并采用超模理论对实验结果进行了定性分析。要获得高的下载效率,必须仔细控制写入光栅的位置和平移台的移动速度。
The all-fiber wavelength selective filter is an important component in the optical fiber communication system. The wavelength selective filter formed by writing the grating on the coupling region of the fiber coupler has the advantages of compact structure, small insertion loss and low cost. The experiment of writing a grating on a 2 × 23dB coupler made of Corning SMF-28 fiber-optic taper was reported. A certain length of Bragg grating was written in the taper cone of the coupler, All-fiber multi-port wavelength selection filter can be realized. Experiments obtained the maximum reflectance of about 20dB, linewidth greater than 1nm filter, and the experimental results using qualitative analysis of the supermodel. To achieve high download efficiency, the position of the writing raster and translation stage must be carefully controlled.
