上海沪西机床厂的全体职工在总路线的鼓舞下,发扬了敢想、敢说、敢做的共产主义风格。在大搞土设备的运动中,由于厂中没有生铁和水泥,就在石头上动脑筋,要制造一台石头龙门鉋来武装自己。但是初步估计一下,光是制造身床所需要的长石头的总面积就要54150×600×250公厘。这样大的石头,到那里去找呢?后来在红星石器生产合作社工人的帮助下,终于在离厂20余公里的郊外找到了。这些石头有的在河里,有的在洞穴里,怎样搬运呢?于是全体职工发挥了无窮干劲.除了老弱之外,全体加入搬运工作,有的不顾寒冷,跳下污水中去,把石头吊了上来;有的用棒头与绳子,用蚂蚁搬泰山的办法,把石头拉到路旁;有的跑到兄弟厂去借橡皮车,终于把合用的石头都搬到厂里。全厂职工苦干了二十余天,同时又得到红星石器生产合作社等兄弟单位的合作,制成了第一台花岗石结构的龙门鉋床。 Under the encouragement of the general line, all employees of Shanghai Huxi Machine Tool Factory promoted the communist style of daring to think, dare to speak, and dare to do. Some of these stones were in the river and some in caves. How did they handle it? Then all the staffs played endlessly. Apart from the old and the weak, all of them joined the carrying work, and some disregarded the cold and jumped into the sewage. The stones were hung up; some used sticks and ropes to pull the stones to the side of the road with ants moving Taishan; some went to the brothers’ factory to borrow a rubber car and finally moved the stones that were in use to the factory. The employees of the entire plant have worked hard for more than 20 days. At the same time, they have also obtained cooperation from brothers and units such as Red Star Stoneware Production Cooperative and made the first granite planer.
