For a long time, optical comparator has been a widely used measuring instruments. Its basic principle has not changed much now. However, with the development of optoelectronic technology and the widespread use of computers, the concept of optical non-contact detection is rapidly changing. Testing must be fast and must keep pace with faster manufacturing speeds. Over the years, the test was much slower than manufacturing.
