VXI test system vendors are now on-site service capabilities. Is this true? It is true. Field service is becoming a very effective method of supporting VXI test systems. As many users know, the VXI bus has some troubleshooting problems that are usually caused by the lack of a traditional human interface such as a real front panel. On the other hand, VXI systems’ hardware support and troubleshooting tools are easier to develop and implement than rack-stacked system columns. When considering the different situations described above, on-site support provided by the equipment manufacturer becomes a reality.
