随着世界经济全球化的发展,英语已经逐渐成为一门世界性语言,准确无误地使用英语进行交际是英语学习的主要目标,然而中西文化背景的差异导致人们在宗教、思想、行为习惯等方面具有很多差异性,从而造成跨文化交际的困难或失败。若英语教师在英语教学过程中能不失时机地补充跨文化知识,让学生在掌握语言技能的同时增加对西方国家文化的了解,扫除因文化匮乏而带来的理解障碍,从而使学生具有较强的跨文化交际能力。
With the development of globalization of the world economy, English has gradually become a universal language. Using English to communicate without errors is the main goal of English learning. However, differences in Chinese and Western cultural backgrounds lead to people’s religious, ideological and behavioral habits.
