为加强对中国旅游者赴澳旅游的安排,澳大利亚小企业和旅游部部长贺祺先生于2002年10月25到28日访华。2003年10月27日,在中国大饭店召开澳中旅游论坛,旅游时代杂志社社长王冀中先生作为嘉宾应邀参加。 贺祺先生在论坛开幕式讲话,并宣布澳大利亚几项旨在为赴澳中国游客提高服务质量的新举措,中国各大旅行社和航空公司代表就这些新举措与中澳旅游官员进行了商讨。
To enhance the arrangements for Chinese tourists to travel to Australia, Mr. He Qi, the Minister of Small Business and Tourism of Australia, visited China from October 25 to 28, 2002. On October 27, 2003, China-Australia Tourism Forum was held in China World Hotel and Mr. Wang Jizhong, president of Travel Times Magazine, was invited as guest. Mr. He Qi addressed the opening ceremony of the forum and announced several new initiatives in Australia aimed at improving the quality of service for Chinese tourists visiting Australia and Macao. Representatives of major travel agencies and airlines in China discussed these new measures with tourism officials from China and Australia.
