比喻性词语是人类语言使用过程中的一种普遍而又独特的现象,可以通过成语、俗语、谚语、习语、典故、格言、神话故事或某些文学作品等诸多形式表现出来,广泛存在于英汉两种不同的语言中,且各自蕴含着丰富的民族特色和文化特色,本文力求从英汉两种语言对比喻的主体与客体之间的选择上探讨其内在的文化差异。
Metaphorical words are a common and unique phenomenon in the process of human language use. They can be expressed in many forms such as idioms, idioms, proverbs, idioms, allusions, myths or some literary works. English and Chinese two different languages, and each contains a wealth of national characteristics and cultural features, this paper seeks to explore its inherent cultural differences from the choice between the subject and the object of English and Chinese metaphors.
