美国德克萨斯州建筑师协会(Texas Society of Architects)将于2011年10月28日在达拉斯举行颁奖仪式,对于建成25～50年之久的建筑进行鉴别,对“经受住了时间的考验,保持了中心造型、特色及整体建筑完整性”的建筑进行表彰。贝聿铭事务所设计、建成于1986的德克萨斯州达拉斯市的喷泉广场,25年后获此殊荣。美国建筑师协会自1907年开始颁发该奖项,每年一次。以“绿色工程”、“可持续建筑物”及“耐久奖”等为入选条件,设计对象为在建筑设计领域内取得卓越成绩的、对社会有着重大影响的建筑师,并且要经得起考验,该奖项已成为美国建筑师协会授予建筑界个人的最高奖项。
