自青年时代投身革命起,蔡畅始终站在革命斗争的前列,特别是致力于中国共产党领导下的妇女解放运动,为中国人民的解放和妇女群众翻身,呕心沥血,蹈厉奋发。新中国成立后,她曾任第四、五届全国人民代表大会常务委员会副委员长,全国妇联第一、二、三届主席和第四届名誉主席,是中国妇女运动的卓越领导人和国际进步妇女运动的著名活动家。 Ever since the youth came to the revolution, Cai Chang has always stood at the forefront of the revolutionary struggle.
