LEAP: Where did you start your curatorial career? Kairuoding: When I started planning the exhibition in the 90’s, nobody called me a curator. “Curator ” is still a new term in Asia, I am not sure curator is what kind of job. I’ve only curated projects that I consider fairly successful in the field of art and drama, and at the same time I have always been a full-time artist who can not sell works. About six years ago, I started to manage university work in Singapore for economic reasons and I was an art director.
