基于平面波展开法,以碳化硅构成二维正方晶格光子晶体,数值模拟了TE模、TM模二维光子晶体的禁带特性,结果表明,TE模更容易形成光子禁带。同时设计了以碳化硅构成二维正方晶格光子晶体波导,数值模拟了TE模、TM模波导的传输特性和禁带特性,结果表明,TE模构成的波导电磁波能够较好的传播,它们的光子禁带都没有出现。研究结论为光子晶体波导器件的开发提供参考。
Based on the plane wave expansion method, two-dimensional square lattice photonic crystals made of silicon carbide were used to numerically simulate the forbidden band characteristics of TE mode and TM mode two-dimensional photonic crystals. The results show that TE mode can form photonic band gap easily. At the same time, a two-dimensional square lattice photonic crystal waveguide made of silicon carbide is designed and the transmission characteristics and band-gap characteristics of TE mode and TM mode waveguide are numerically simulated. The results show that the waveguide electromagnetic waves formed by TE mode can propagate well. Photonic band gap did not appear. The conclusion of the research provides a reference for the development of photonic crystal waveguide device.
