1997年夏,笔者在咸阳钱币市场集得新出土汉代钱币95枚,计有银残币1枚(见图),货泉7枚,五铢87枚(除省铢1枚外,尚有面穿上横、面穿下半星等数个版别,但皆为常见品)。货主为中年农民,钱币装于一塑料袋中,自称在北塬挖得。因当时没有发现银残币,便没有详问出自何地。后来整理该批钱币时,拿起残币拧拉数下未断(箭头所指为拧拉处),方感不对头,细察,发现该残币竟是面、背均无字的银币(不排除残去部分有字的可能),可惜的是未找到残余部分。该币无锈,底灰黑,上土黄,断口处露银,延展性好,径26,穿11,厚0.8mm(肉厚0.6mm).重1.7克(推算整币应为2.26克左右)。笔者查阅资料,否定了它为银五铢合面的可能(穿比银五铢穿大,且两者穿的风格不同),当为汉代银币新品种(限于学识、资料,
