在旧中国的官吏中不乏画家、书法家,这是中国封建制度对官吏学养要求的导向所至,更是中国文化传统的沿袭使然。清末、民国初期的吴大澂先生便是其代表人物之一。
There are no shortage of painters and calligraphers among the officials in the old China. This is the guideline for the feudalism of China to the requirements of official education. It is even more because of the tradition of Chinese culture. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Mr. Wu Dayu of early Republic of China was one of its representatives.
