观察了IL-1β对NMDA(N-甲基天冬氨酸)受体活性及其mRNA表达的影响。结果表明,IL-1β在1~25U/ml浓度范围内可剂量依赖地提高NMDA受体的活性和明显促进培养胚胎大鼠大脑皮层神经元NMDA1型受体(NMDAR1)mRNA的表达,并存在一定的剂量、时间效应关系。IL-1受体拮抗剂(IL-1Ra)可抑制IL-1β的上述生物学效应。提示IL-1β具有兴奋性神经调质作用,在癫痫等惊厥性疾病的发病过程中可能起一定作用,IL-1Rα对某些神经系统兴奋性疾病具有潜在的治疗价值。
