发现并验证了电弧放电对光栅折射率调制的电弧放电擦除(ADE)效应,利用ADE效应成功制作了相移光纤光栅。基于ADE效应的特点,建立了由这种工艺制作相移光纤光栅的理论模型,基于放电对折射率和光栅擦除长度的影响,采用不同的光栅参数,进行了较全面的仿真研究;同时,设计制作了专用的装置,对基于ADE的相移光栅制作技术进行了全面的实验研究和验证,研究了外部应力、放电参数、光栅参数和退火处理等因素对透射峰值波长、线宽和强度的影响。理论仿真与实验研究结果一致。仿真和实验研究均表明:基于ADE的相移光纤光栅制作技术方便有效,通过优化放电参数和光栅参数,可以制作高质量的相移光栅。
The arc discharge erase (ADE) effect of arc discharge on the grating refractive index modulation was found and verified. The phase shift fiber grating was fabricated successfully by ADE effect. Based on the characteristics of ADE effect, a theoretical model of phase-shift fiber grating fabricated by this technique is established. Based on the influence of discharge on the refractive index and the length of grating erasure, different grating parameters are used to conduct a more comprehensive simulation study. At the same time, A special device has been designed and fabricated to conduct a comprehensive experimental study and verification of the phase shift grating fabrication technology based on ADE. The effect of external stress, discharge parameters, grating parameters and annealing treatment on the transmission peak wavelength, linewidth and intensity influences. The theoretical simulation and experimental results are consistent. Both simulation and experimental studies show that phase shift FBG based on ADE is convenient and effective. By optimizing the discharge parameters and grating parameters, a high quality phase shift grating can be fabricated.
