在以和平发展为主题以改革开放为主潮流的当今世界，生产力和世界性交往在普遍发展。国际化趋势在不断加强，世界性现代化和后现代化及世界性历史成为当代人类文明的大潮，由此升华出人类的国际化精神和全球意识，这正符合马克思１５０前的实践的人道主义的共产主义、社会化了的人类的共产主义、世界历史性的共产主义的哲学理想。苏联的解体是反世界性历史的军事霸权主义或社会帝国主义的解体，是反世界性普遍交往的封闭计划经济模式的解体。中国的改革开放及社会主义市场经济体制的确立为人类的社会化和世界性历史的发展推波助澜。因此可以说作为人类运动的国际共产主义在不断走向高潮，而不是处于低潮
