武钢初轧厂均热跨的轨道大梁,是参照苏联Π-4型图纸制造的铆接结构,于1960年11月投产使用,至今已有28个多年头,上设有4台起重量320t至340t的钳式吊车,每天起吊往返的初轧钢坯在8000t以上,使轨道大梁承受着多种交变荷载。1988年1月中旬,我们对西起第12柱至第13柱间发现的一处轨道大梁下弦断裂部位进行了修复处理,采用了船状箱体构件补强,效果很好,较好地缩短了检修工期。该处轨道大梁断裂部位是发生在下弦铆接的角钢上,由于检修工期紧,来不及折除和对断口进行全面观测与检查,只能从断裂表面的弯曲走向进行
