我院于1981年10月采集通山五号母株枝条,在院内猕猴桃试验园嫁接进行遗传性测定,并观察其生物学特性。嫁接树于1983年开始结果,1984年9月下旬在湖北省猕猴桃优良单株鉴评会上被评为第一名。与会代表认为该优株的遗传性稳定,综合性状良好,有推广价值。现将该优株的生态环境,植株形态特点及生物学特性初报如下。一、母株的生态环境该优株于1980年9月发现于通山县三界乡,植株生长在海拔554m的东坡,坡度约为55度,成土母质为页岩,土壤疏松,土层深厚,pH值为6.8。
