I. Preface (proposal to the question) The reliability of the overall stability assessment of the gravity dock is the most important issue for the correct determination of the fracture surface of the soil. At present, for the overall stability calculation of gravity-type wharfs, it is usually considered as a plane problem and is generally calculated as a circular-arc sliding surface. Recently, Drettas et al. also proposed a structural safety factor analysis method that resists shear failure to estimate the overall stability of a gravity-type wharf. However, in the analysis of a terminal collapse accident using the above method, the calculated sliding surface is compared with the actual fractured sliding surface.
