轧材热切锯片的使用寿命,在苏联的大多数冶金工厂中还是很低的,其原因是锯齿沟内形成疲劳裂纹、锯齿磨损严重、锯齿表面粘附金属、锯齿软化或锯齿崩落等。顿涅茨冶金工厂400轧机上的锯片,锯切热型材的使用寿命为每月30个锯片。如果锯切低合金钢轧材,每班就需要更换几次锯片。为延长锯片寿命,研究制定了强化锯片(高温回火)、锯齿接触电热淬火和靠表面塑性变形来提高锯片疲劳强度等全套处理新工艺。
The service life of hot-rolled saw blades is still very low in most of the Soviet Union’s metallurgical plants due to fatigue cracks in sawtooth grooves, serious serrated wear, metal adhering to serrated surfaces, serrated softening or saw-tooth caving. Saw blades on the 400 rolling mill in the Donets Metallurgical Plant, sawing the hot profile for a service life of 30 saw blades per month. If sawing low alloy steel rolled, each class need to be replaced several saw blade. In order to prolong the life of the saw blade, a full set of new processing technologies such as enhanced saw blade (high temperature tempering), serrated contact electrothermal quenching and surface plastic deformation to improve the fatigue strength of the saw blade have been developed.
