1950年冬,我在乐昌县人民法院工作期间,一天接到县委会的通知:明天上午8时到县委会议室参加县直机关党员会议。那时,机关党员不多,整个县直机关只有一二十名,谁到会,谁没有到会,一目了然。到了开会时间,大家都到齐了,惟有县贸易公司徐经理没有来。新来的县委书记李康寿同志当即叫县委秘书打电话催,回答说:“有件事情没办完,等一会就来”;过了一段时间,李书记见徐同志没有来,再叫县委秘书打电话催,回答说:“快了”;又过了一段时间,李书记见徐同志还没有来,第三次叫县委秘书打电话催,并下了一道“死命令”——马上来。
