Objective To observe the clinical effect of muscle start-point therapy and cervical vertebral fixed-point technique in the treatment of cervical hypertension. Methods 106 cases of patients with cervical hypertension were randomly divided into two groups, 53 cases in the observation group and 53 cases in the control group. The two groups were given conventional antihypertensive drugs. The control group only received fixed-point cervical spine surgery for 5-7 days, A total of 10 treatments, the treatment group in addition to the use of fixed-point cervical spine surgery, plus the use of muscle start and stop therapy, every other day 1 times, 3 times a week, a total of 15 treatments. Two groups of patients before and after treatment with a desktop cuff sphygmomanometer each measurement of blood pressure, assess the therapeutic effect, while the efficacy evaluation. Results The symptoms of neck and shoulder in both groups were improved after treatment. The total effective rate was 96.23% and 88.67% in the treatment group and the control group respectively. The clinical cure rates were 67.92% and 49.06% respectively. The treatment group was superior to the control group, P <0.05; after treatment, the blood pressure of the two groups improved compared with that before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01), the treatment group was better than the control group, P <0.01. Total antihypertensive treatment group and control group were 94.33%, 88.67%, respectively, markedly effective rates were 58.49%, 37.74%, the treatment group was better than the control group, P <0.05. Conclusions The muscle start and end point therapy and cervical vertebra fixed point extension are effective in treating cervical hypertension.
