开采煤厚为1.2米以下的缓倾斜薄煤层,尤其是开采煤厚为0.5～0.8米的缓倾斜极薄煤层的浅截深采煤机,我国虽进行了研究并取得了一定成绩,但迄今尚未研制成功能较好地满足生产实践需要的系列产品。苏联由С.М.克尔洛夫命名的戈尔诺夫斯克机器制造厂成批生产了2Ук、Бк-4、1к-101、Бк-52、Мк-67及马拉霍夫斯克泼罗煤矿机械试制工厂设计并制造了1Бш(《Старт》)型等六种专供缓倾斜极薄及薄煤层回采工作面
