沧州临京津环渤海,自古人杰地灵,才俊辈出,具有深厚的文化底蕴。近几年来,随着沧州经济社会快速发展,沧州的美术创作也呈现出蓬勃发展的繁荣景象。沧州油由画学会就是在这样一个背景下成立的。学会现有会员近70名,他们大都毕业于艺术院校,受过不同程度的专业训练,对油画艺术语言的把握具备一定的水准。部分画家的作品多次入选国家级重要展览并获奖,也有的画家在沧州,石家庄、北京举办个人油画展览,受到社会的关注和好评。油画源自西方,在一个传统文化底蕴深厚的城市,油画没有更多的传统和师承, Cangzhou Pro Beijing-Tianjin Bohai Sea, since ancient times, outstanding people, with profound cultural heritage.
