西方大多数国家信奉的是基督教,《圣经》是基督教最经典的典籍,同时是基督教的灵魂所在。英语作为西方国家的主要语言,其文化背景与《圣经》息息相关,不可分割,甚至可以说,《圣经》是英语的文化起源之一。因此,《圣经》对英语语言文化的影响是很深远的,表现在几个方面,其原因也包括几个方面。文章从《圣经》对英语语言文化的影响及《圣经》对英语语言文化产生影响的原因两个方面进行研究和探索,具有非常深刻的意义。
Most countries in the West believe in Christianity. The Bible is the most classic of Christianity and is also the soul of Christianity. As the main language of western countries, English is closely related to the Bible and its cultural background is inseparable.
