中国对外贸易运输公司北京市分公司1961至1979年大部分财会档案,共计24箱被水淹毁。该公司于1983年将上述档案移至所属单位集装箱货运站办公楼地下室保存,由于供水管道渗漏,地下室积水日渐增多,档案被水浸泡。直至1984年8月,他们发现这一情况时,积水已深达1.7米,全部档案浸泡在污水之中,损失极为严重。事故发现后,集装箱货运站捞出档案,并上报该公司,但长期未能得到公司的重视和解决。直至1986年,公司新任经理了解情况后,上报了市经贸委和有关部门,但全部档案或成砖状,或成纸浆,后果严重,无法挽回。究其事故原因,一是领导缺少认识,特别是事故发现后,既不采取措施,又不上报情况,造成无法挽回的后果;
Most of the financial records of China’s foreign trade and transportation company in Beijing from 1961 to 1979, a total of 24 boxes were flooded. The company moved the above files to the basement of the container freight station office building in 1983 for preservation. Due to the leakage of the water supply pipe, the water in the basement is gradually increasing, and the files are soaked in water.
