Toxicity and hazards of arsenic and its compounds in the environment are often associated with mercury and cadmium. As pesticides, herbicides added to the soil of arsenic and the presence of swollen salts in the soil has been reported. Considered from the elemental background value, the arsenic present in the soil mainly comes from the parent material. Although the concentration of arsenic in the soil profile changes somewhat during the process of soil formation, the influence of soil parent material on the initial content of chemical elements in the soil is still significant. In this paper, the soil in Guangdong as an example, the South China tropical and subtropical
