班级群体是学生素质发展或个性成长的主要环境。和一般课任教师不同,班主任在促进学生素质的发展中具有特殊的地位和作用。班主任是学生班级的组织者、教育者、管理者。笔者认为,要科学地做好班主任工作,必须正确解决好班主任工作中的四个结合。热情关怀和严格要求相结合具体来讲,平时对学生的学习和生活,教师要做热情关怀,但在班级制度的执行上,要严格要求,以理服人。当然,“严”决不意味着对学生专横粗暴,体罚辱骂学
