伟大的民族成就伟大的国家,而处于基层的广大民众的文化艺术素质的优劣决定了这个民族整体文化素质水平的高下。中国是一个拥有十几亿人口的泱泱大国,群众文化生活质量的提高一直是党和国家长期以来关注的关乎国计民生的重大问题之一。良好的文艺政策调动了基层群众文艺创作和演出的积极性,促进了群众文化艺术的发展。群星奖的设立便是国家文化部为全国的广大民众提供的展示艺术才华的重要平台。
The great nation has great achievements in the country. The quality of the arts and culture of the general public at the grassroots level determines the overall cultural quality of this nation. China is a big country with a population of over one billion. The improvement of the quality of mass cultural life has always been one of the major issues concerning the national economy and the people’s livelihood that the party and the state have long been concerned about. Good literature and art policies aroused the enthusiasm of grass-roots mass literary creation and performance, and promoted the development of mass culture and the arts. The establishment of the Star Awards is an important platform for the Ministry of Culture to showcase the talent of the arts for the general public throughout the country.
