“长三角”区域位于大陆海岸线中部、长江入海口,包括上海市、江苏省的南京、镇江、扬州、泰州、苏州、无锡、常州、南通和浙江省的杭州、嘉兴、湖州、宁波、绍兴、舟山等15个城市,总土地面积10万平方公里,约占全国的1%;全区总人口7534万人,约占全国的5.9%。“长三角”区域各城市地域相连,文化相近,经济相融,人缘相亲,相互联系十分密切,经济一体化传统已久。近年来,区域基础设施特别是交通设施网络化、经济社会信息化和思想观念现代化的大发展,更加强化了“长三角”区域一体化发展的基础。 “长三角”作为发育比较成熟的大组团式城镇群在我国经济发展和城市化建设中越来越凸显其重要作用。“长三角“城市群必将引领中国经济发展的主方向,并成为辐射带动区域经济和社会发展的龙头。如何进一步落实全面、协调、可持续发展观,贯彻党的十六届三中全会提出的“五个统筹”,担当中国城市化建设的主力和经济增长的“航母”?“长三角”和它周边华东地区的建设行政主管部门纷纷提出了对策。本期我们摘发数篇,以飨读者。
The ”Yangtze River Delta“ region is located in the middle of the mainland coastline, the Yangtze River estuary, including Shanghai, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Taizhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nantong and Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Ningbo, Zhoushan and other 15 cities, the total land area of 100,000 square kilometers, accounting for about 1% of the country; the total population of 75340000 people, accounting for about 5.9% of the country. The cities in the ”Yangtze River Delta“ region are closely linked with each other and have similar cultures, economic ties and popularity. They are closely interlinked and the economic integration has long been traditional. In recent years, the great development of the regional infrastructure, especially the networking of transportation facilities, the modernization of economic and social information and the ideological concepts have further strengthened the foundation for the integrated development of the ”Yangtze River Delta“ region. The ”Yangtze River Delta“, as a relatively mature large-group urban cluster, has played an increasingly important role in China’s economic development and urbanization. The ”Yangtze River Delta“ urban agglomeration will surely lead the main direction of China’s economic development and will become the leader in radiating the regional economic and social development. How to further implement the concept of overall, coordinated and sustainable development, implement the ”Five Overall Plans“ put forward by the Third Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, and act as the ”aircraft carrier“ for the urbanization in China and for economic growth? The ”Yangtze River Delta" and its The construction administrative departments in the surrounding East China have put forward countermeasures one after another.
