It has also drawn wide attention from all walks of life. However, there is also a more general problem. That is, as students enter college, the attendance rate in college English classrooms tends to decline, seriously affecting the teaching of college English. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the phenomenon of absence of students and to explore the different reasons behind different classes of students skipping classes.
