新古典主义油画风格作为油画发展史上独有的艺术风格,具有一定的社会意义,承前启后,继承了古典主义启迪了印象主义。新古典主义在题材选择上以重大历史题材为背景,注重形式、注重理性、注重格律。对新古典主义及其绘画特征的研究对指导当下油画创作具有重要意义。
