浙南边陲小城泰顺,位于温州西南,飞云江上游,地处浙闽交界处洞宫山脉东南翼,是一个建于明代的古县城。这里山峦延绵,古木连大蔽日,充沛的雨水和潺潺山泉在此汇聚,溪流纵横。水多自然桥多,泰顺现存有各式大小桥梁九百八十多座,其中著名的叠梁式木拱廊桥,造型古朴,风格独特,乃明清时代遗存,被称为“天然古桥博物馆”。
