汪曾祺复出之后的散文创作名重一时,但在散文史的大背景下对其进行考量,其优点和缺失都很明显。《桃花源记》与《岳阳楼记》分别代表了中国散文的两种传统写作手法,共同丰富了中国的散文创作。在评价汪曾祺及当代散文创作时,应警惕:在否定假大空的政治化散文的同时,又极端地排斥富于思想性的厚重的散文传统;在肯定汪曾祺散文的纠偏作用的同时,又将这种名士风的散文神化,从而带来另一种压抑。
