公安机关加强社会管理创新的一个重要任务就是对互联网等新媒体为载体的虚拟社会管理工作创新。发展公安微博能加强对虚拟社会的管理,促进公安工作。目前整个公安微博平台建设仍存在不少问题,要在工作机制上保障其平台规范运作,要加强维护管理,增强公安微博的权威性、互动性、时效性、亲和力,提高公安微博生命力和影响力。
