聚丙烯/二氧化硅(PP/SiO2)纳米复合材料具有优异的加工、力学、热稳定等性能。如何实现SiO2在PP基体中的均匀分散及提高两相的界面相容性是制备PP/SiO2复合材料的关键。文中利用马来酸酐接枝的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(MA-SEBS)作增容剂,采用熔融共混和注塑成型的方法制备了PP/SiO2纳米复合材料;研究了MASEBS对PP/SiO2复合材料的力学性能、断面形貌及结晶行为的影响。结果表明:添加MA-SEBS显著提高了PP/SiO2复合材料的冲击强度,使SiO2在PP结晶过程中能更好地起到异相成核作用,提高了复合材料中PP相的结晶温度、降低了PP的球晶尺寸。
Polypropylene / silica (PP / SiO2) nanocomposites have excellent processing, mechanical, thermal stability and other properties. How to achieve the uniform dispersion of SiO2 in the PP matrix and improve the interfacial compatibility of the two phases is the key to the preparation of PP / SiO2 composites. In this paper, PP / SiO2 nanocomposites were prepared by melt blending and injection molding using maleic anhydride grafted hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (MA-SEBS) as compatibilizer. The influence of MASEBS on the mechanical properties, morphology and crystallization behavior of PP / SiO2 composites was studied. The results showed that the addition of MA-SEBS markedly enhanced the impact strength of PP / SiO2 composites and made SiO2 play a better role in heterogeneous nucleation during the crystallization of PP, increasing the crystallization temperature of PP phase in the composites and decreasing the crystallization temperature PP spherulite size.
