日本NTT传输系统实验室已研制了二种先进的自动测量系统。一种供渐变型多模光纤应用;另一种供单模光纤应用。对这二种方法已作过可获得高工作速率的试验,即加速每次测量和采用全多任务操作的试验。为使每次测量较快,研究了几种测量技术。已研制了多任务的软件,它允许同时完成几乎所有的测量。我们可以把任意数目的测量装置装进系统,而不会降低测量速度。这二种系统的测量效率是普通方法的3~10倍。
Japan NTT transmission system laboratory has developed two kinds of advanced automatic measurement system. One for tapered multimode fiber applications; the other for single-mode fiber applications. Experiments have been made on these two methods to obtain high rates of operation, namely tests to speed up each measurement and to adopt a multitasking operation. In order to make each measurement faster, several measurement techniques were studied. Multitasking software has been developed that allows almost all measurements to be made at the same time. We can load any number of measuring devices into the system without reducing the measurement speed. The measurement efficiency of these two systems is 3 to 10 times the normal method.
